Welcome to the website of the parent organization that supports the International Baccalaureate program at Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona! We are proud of the outstanding program that we have at our school and have developed this website to promote communication with parents of existing and prospective students. Highlights for our school and program include:

• The DMHS IB Program is ranked 39th in the nation according to US News and World Report, based on the program's success in helping students achieve their IB diploma.
• The DMHS IB program is the only Arizona program to make the US News and World Report list of top IB programs in the country.
• 94% of the DMHS IB seniors graduating in 2008 earned their IB diploma.
• DMHS is ranked in the top 3% of the nation’s high schools by Newsweek.
• AZ, a magazine published by the Arizona Republic, named DMHS as one of the top ten public high schools in the Valley for doing the best job of getting 10th-grade students to pass the statewide 2008 AIMS reading and math exams.  DMHS is also tops among those schools for SAT reading and math scores.

Past IBPA Board members, especially those from recent years, have given generously of their time and knowledge to put together the various documents found in this website.
